" i lost my old mind
yet found another one"

Priveligerte skriveriene og til The World Drum Project,
tydeligvis var det ikke gjennommodent på tidspunket.
Dette blåste liv i glørne, takk teleterkj du Store Ordkunstner

Brain – Part I –VIII
I.
I put my brain in my pocket
And let it rest for a while
Then I fill my head
with soil, gras, stone and air.
When my head then feels clean
And I`m no longer mean
I put my brain back in my head
Because without it, I am dead
II.
Sometimes when I wake up
With the brain inside my head
The body won`t respond
And I feel already dead.
The brain is working hard
To move my legs and bones
The thoughts go to the future
The past and here and now
I think, life is to short
To waste any more time
So I disconnect my brain
And allow myself to be “insane”
III
When I for a while have been “insane”
I lift up and hold the brain
And wonder, shall I put it back again
Or shall I let it follow the rain
Down the river and into the sea
And let the ocean be a part of me
Sometime in the future
It will start to rain
And then I can pick it up again
And I wonder now
Will I ever be “insane” again
IV
When the rain came with the brain along
I decided to take a swim
In the ocean cold and deep
Because the “insane” parts of my brain
never transformed into rain but stayed in the ocean
I swallowed sea by sea
And felt that madness became a part of me
I went ashore and crossed the land I saw
And told the people fuck you all
Back into the woods I went
And howled to nature,
I`m heaven sent
V
When I had been in the woods
For a long time
I was cleaned and had and open mind
I learned that nature can teach and tell
Which road we must go to avoid hell
Trees and plants and animals
Have been a part of nature
Since the day of dawn
With a searching heart
They have acclimatized
And won the battle of surviving
This has carried on and on
Until the human race was born
VI
With a thinking brain we worked like hell
And managed to break natures spell
Trees and plant and animals
Became all victims of our demands
We only cared for wealth and gold
And not that nature soon was sold
And now when almost all is gone
We start to think, what have we done?
Maybe we all had been better of
Born with fur and claws
And lived in wisdom after natures laws?
VII
The time has come to make a choice
Shall we listen to natures voice
Or shall we allow greed and gold
To point out the direction
Of the destructive road
The question will be for both you and me
Is there any future for Mother Earth
And what`s the meaning of giving birth
To a new and naked human child
Who will be walking in a maze
Consisting of nothing but a daze
It`s time for us to use the brain
And squeeze out all the greed and pain
To save Mother Earth and atmosphere
And allow nature to live its way
With no more interruption
From the greedy face
Which are called the human race
VIII
In the woods I have been and seen the light
So let us gather for the fight
With the privilege to be insane
We can use our sometimes clever brain
To stop the rape of Mother Earth
And soon be able to give birth
To a new and better human race
