Children live in symbiosis with their mother until they have understood that they are separate individuals with an own free will.
Some adults can also live in symbiosis with each other; this can lead to a relationship where the parties involved give up much of their individualism and free will.
I recommend that relationships should not be lived in symbiosis, but instead, each person in a relationship should be given as much space and room for individual growth and development as possible.
Each individual has his own ego and spirits which need to feel free and independent.
