"Samin":
Takk Samin
Menne...I tromsø??

Yes, NNY:
thank you,
these lines by Hafiz are very charming indeed! A sound piece of advice, too!!

"Thirst drove me down to the water,
where I drank the moon`s reflection.
Now I am a lion staring up,
totally lost in love,
with the thing itself..
mmm....

Bekreftes. Her er hele diktet:
BURNT KABOB
Last year, I admired wines. This,
I'm wandering inside the red world.
Last year, I gazed at the fire.
This year I'm burnt kabob.
Thirst drove me down to the water
where I drank the moon's reflection.
Now I am a lion staring up totally
lost in love with the thing itself.
Don't ask questions about longing.
Look in my face.
Soul drunk, body ruined, these two
sit helpless in a wrecked wagon.
Neither knows how to fix it.
And my heart, I'd say it was more
like a donkey sunk in a mudhole,
struggling and miring deeper.
But listen to me: for one moment,
quit being sad. Hear blessings
dropping their blossoms
around you. God.

Takk begge to!

I wish i could write like Rumi
Put beautiful pictures of misty mountains into the mind
of the adept
being cleansed by the ligths of the elders
who speak in tounges they
have borrowed by weccyata mother serpentine
I can absorb wisdom and seek to attain that
witch has gotten in between the lines
extract those finer nectars
and let them occupy me
a most pleasing madness
It is a strange life ,in witch we live
Great mother witch
listening, never sleeping woman of the milkyway
O\ this be not Rumi, well there is the lust, and the impulse to create
Something far greater than my little self
has ever accomplished
The law of Jante has caught me in,i shalt say no more now.
Thank you for folling me down the lines of utter
insanity
i shalt forever treasure thine most attentive mind
and seek to please thee always
wearing fruity clothing
and well-knit shoes
yes,there is gladness within.
nervous gladness
hysterical,on the brink of being violent
yet, always just a brushing of the wings.

THE SILENT ARTICULATION OF A FACE
Love comes with a knife, not some shy question,
and not with fears for its reputation! I say
these things disinterestedly. Accept them in kind.
Love is a madman, working his wild schemes,
tearing off his clothes, running through the
mountains, drinking poison, and now quietly
choosing annihilation. A tiny spider tries
to wrap an enormous wasp. Think of the spiderweb
woven across the cave where Muhammad slept!
There are love stories, and there is obliteration
into love. You've been walking the ocean's edge,
holding up your robes to keep them dry. You
must dive naked under and deeper under, a thousand
times deeper! Love flows down. The ground submits
to the sky and suffers what comes. Tell
me, is the earth worse for giving in like that?
Don't put blankets over the drum! Open completely.
Let your spirit-ear listen to the green dome's
passionate murmur. Let the cords of your robe be untied.
Shiver in this new love beyond all
above and below. The sun rises, but which way
does night go? I have no more words. Let the
soul speak with the silent articulation of a face.

+ en liten godbit fra Hafiz:
A Barroom View of Love
I would not want all my words
to parade around this world
in pretty costumes,
So I will tell you something
of the Barroom view of Love.
Love is grabbing hold of the Great Lion's mane
and wrestling and rolling deep into Existence
While the Beloved gets rough
and begins to maul you alive.
True Love, my dear,
is putting an ironclad grip upon
The soft, swollen balls
of a Divine Rogue Elephant
And
not having the good fortune to Die!
--Hafiz, oversatt av ...?? Passopp!!?!
