Hi there all,
There are various ways of communicating with your power animal.
I communicate telepathically with the horse. It is the soul. mind and heart that we use to communicate with each others.
We become one in the moment we meet. There are no borders or space between us, we are in the universal now.
Actually i think it is the other way around.
I think it is the power animal that communicate with me,and comes to my attention
informing me of its presence.sometimes after that i experience this same animal
appearing in very peculiar places,to say hello.
But i may also communicate with an power animal by visualizing it,or looking at photographs.
I have a photograph of an snow eagle,and when i sit beneath it,the spirit of the eagle sometimes merges with me
another way for it to say hello,im here!
I believe in this merging,it can happen in an instant,and when it happens one adopts many of the pecularities or tendencies of the power animal.
If i see the bear inside me,i use its power by roaring and gnarling.
The bear may appear when i really need him,for strength and groundedness.
I can run with the bear across a river
it is a big animal
but it knows speed
and determination
through its strength and balance.
Then the bear may shapeshift into an eagle and take off into a nearby tree to get an overlook,and maybe shapeshift into a squirrel and run down
the stem of the tree to see whats going on down there.
I believe the power animal communicates how it feels and what it sees
when one journeys in a shamanic trance
and i believe that these communications are of healing , transformation and divination purposes
because these experiences goes on,not on t.v. but inside our soul or Anima.
Power animals can also see into the future,by looking into the past, and will sometimes inform me of things to happen
many days ahead of time,now, it is up to me to understand and divine the meanings of their messages and omens,
by being in the here and now,where it all goes down.
